Nature of this document
No legal entity has been registered for this product yet. The operator has not supplied a company name, postal address, or registered jurisdiction. These terms are provided on a personal basis by the product's operator and do not represent a registered organisation's binding commitments. Before these terms bind anyone, the operator must supply the entity name, address and jurisdiction.
What this product is
CommsCrisis is a client-side web tool that generates draft text for incident communications. You enter facts about an incident; the tool produces four draft texts at different registers (status page, customer email, engineering note, executive summary). The tool does not send email, post to status pages, integrate with any external system, or store any data.
Billing and subscriptions
CommsCrisis is free to use today — the Free tier costs €0/month and covers everything the product currently does. A Professional subscription is planned at €12/month (billed monthly) and will add incident history, draft templates, custom branding, PDF export, and team workspaces. No payment is currently accepted. The Professional tier does not exist yet and cannot be purchased today.
When a payment provider is connected and the Professional tier becomes available, the following terms will apply:
- Subscription model. The Professional tier is a monthly subscription. You are billed €12 on the first day of each billing period. There is no annual or multi-year plan.
- Free tier remains free. The Free tier continues at €0/month with all features described on the pricing page. No payment information is required to use it.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails (card declined, expired, insufficient funds), we will retry the charge up to three times over seven days. If all retries fail, the subscription will be downgraded to the Free tier and Professional features will become inaccessible.
- Refund policy. Because the subscription is billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date, refunds are not offered for partial months. If you cancel, Professional features remain active until the end of the current billing period. Contact us if you believe you were billed in error and we will review the case.
- Cancellation. You may cancel your Professional subscription at any time. No further charges will be incurred. Access to Professional features continues until the end of the current billing period.
- No payment is accepted today. The Professional tier is planned but not yet available. The demo checkout on the pricing page is a demonstration only — no payment information is collected or processed by this site.
No accounts
This product does not offer user accounts, logins, or profiles. Every visit starts fresh. No data persists between visits.
Use at your own risk
This tool generates draft text based on the facts you supply. You are solely responsible for reviewing the drafts for accuracy, tone, legal implications, and suitability before publishing or sending them. The drafts are starting points; a human must review every communication before it is issued.
The tool does not determine what is true. It does not verify your facts. If you mark a root cause as confirmed when it is not yet established, the tool will state that cause in the drafts as if it were true. The confirmed-cause checkbox is a control for your editorial process, not a guarantee of accuracy.
No warranties
This product is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. The operator makes no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the generated drafts for any particular purpose. The product may contain errors, omissions, or produce output that is inappropriate for your use case.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use this product, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on generated draft content, missed incident communications, or any indirect or consequential losses.
Intellectual property
The drafts you generate are your own text. The tool does not claim any ownership over the output you produce. The tool itself (the code, design, and brand) is the property of the operator.
No data collection
All processing happens in your browser. No incident data is transmitted to any server, stored, logged, or shared with any third party. Refer to the Privacy policy for full details.
Prohibited uses
You may not use this product to generate communications that violate applicable laws, infringe on others' rights, or contain intentionally false or misleading information.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Because the product does not store user data or contact information, we have no way to notify you of changes individually. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
Governing law has not been specified. The operator must supply a jurisdiction before this section takes effect.
